ITx 2018 is on Wednesday 11th July to Friday 13th July in Wellington, which is within most tertiary institution's holiday period. The funding provided covers a full conference registration over the three days, including social events.

Note that students will need to cover their own travel (if reqd), accommodation, and other costs.

Applications will be selected and approved based on:

1. Applicant being full-time students at a New Zealand tertiary institution, and not otherwise being in a position to attend ITx 2018.
2. Applicants being able to clearly articulate how attending the conference will help with their study and future career prospects within the industry.
3. The selection process will ensure a reasonable level of (1) gender and cultural diversity and (2) attendees from multiple tertiary institutions. Places funded by CITRENZ are only open to students of CITRENZ member institutions.
4. An element of "first-in, first served" for those meeting the other criteria.

Applications will close at 5pm on Wednesday 20 June 2018 (or earlier if we have a significant number), and successful applicants will be informed asap but definitely before the end of June.
