Kaizen Artist & Founder of The Agility Collective
Horia Slușanschi (to be pronounced Ho-ré-ah Sloo-shan-ski) is passionate about inspiring people to delight customers while finding joy in work. He believes coaching and mentoring are about building awareness. In his experience, the art of creating agile enterprise ecosystems requires developing a contagion of curiosity and experimentation. In this spirit, he relentlessly pursues excellence and harmony through deliberate practice in all aspects of life.
Horia is trained as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, holds a PhD in Computer Science and practices the art of kaizen (roughly translated as continuous improvement). Horia is helping various organisations to transform their thinking, organisational and action habits to achieve better outcomes, all while improving professional and personal satisfaction for everyone involved.
In the nearly two decades since the Agile Manifesto for Software Development was published in 2001, the community of Agile practitioners has learned a lot. This talk highlights some of the key lessons. We’ll explore tweaks to the fundamental values, refinements of the principles, and broader developments involving scaling, organisational transformation and use of the agile mindset beyond IT.
