Sun Tzu and the Art of IT Strategy

Wednesday 2:30pm - 3:00pm, ITP Conference (WCC Plenary Room)

Sun Tzu was a Chinese general, philosopher, and military strategist who is credited with writing The Art of War. The Art of War was characterised by a small military force defeating a significantly larger enemy.

Sun Tzu's strategies can be applied to New Zealand IT Groups and companies. New Zealand technologists may be small on the global stage, however by adopting Art of War strategies can become more effective and competitive.

Whether you work for the government or the private sector, the philosophy of war by Sun Tzu is translatable into strategies that will improve your professional practice and company growth.
