The ITx 2018 Programme may change without notice
Once upon a time a client presented a brief to a consultant with their desired outcomes, the gaps between as-is and to-be were analysed and a proposal presented. Time was of the essence, so familiar paths were trod where possible, but innovation was required also. The project was initiated and project management plans were baselined and integrated: budget, scope, time, quality and risks (obstacles/hairy ogres). Software developers were engaged, hardware drivers written, applications enhanced and web portals built from scratch. Change management proceeded. Stakeholders were engaged. Budgets monitored. Go-live day approached. Users were trained. T-shirts were printed. Go-live day dawned: and then the hard work began...
This session will discuss the journey that was undertaken, the outcomes delivered, the lessons learnt and, of course, the ending.
